Study abroad trip to Cuba offered; deadline Feb. 1

cuba-250VANCOUVER, Wash. – A study abroad visit to Cuba open to all Washington State University students will be led by instructor María Lee-López, who was born and raised in Havana, on June 24-July 3.

The deadline for applications is Feb. 1. Knowledge of Spanish is not required. To be put on the mailing list, please contact Lee-López, who is in the Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures at WSU Vancouver, at lee-lopez@vancouver.wsu.edu.

The general-cultural study will include visits to museums, monuments and other important sites as well as special-topic lectures delivered by Cuban experts.
