Take Back the Night: Campus, community march against violence

PULLMAN, Wash. – Members of the Washington State University and Pullman communities marched through the campus and gathered for a vigil against violence Thursday, Oct. 17, as part of the annual Week Without Violence hosted by the YWCA of WSU.

March-450The annual Take Back the Night march allows participants to reflect on the effects of violence on the lives of victims, survivors, family, friends and the larger community. The Week Without Violence promotes awareness about domestic and sexual violence/abuse.
