Oct. 10: Terrell celebration of life scheduled for Thursday afternoon

Terrell-80PULLMAN, Wash. – A celebration honoring the life and legacy of former Washington State University President Glenn Terrell will be held at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, in the Terrell Library atrium on the WSU Pullman campus. Terrell, who served as president 1967-1985, died Aug. 30 at age 93.

Speakers will include WSU president Elson S. Floyd and former presidents V. Lane Rawlins and Sam Smith. WSU regent Scott Carson will make remarks as will professor emeritus Carol Gordon, WSU Foundation board of governors member Mikal Thomsen and Glenn Terrell III. Paul Casey, ASWSU president during part of Terrell’s tenure, will serve as master of ceremonies.
