Oct. 7 early deadline: Symposium looks at human-animal interaction

human-animal-symposium-80PULLMAN, Wash. – Human-animal interaction will be explored in presentations, workshops and a poster session Friday-Sunday, Oct. 18-20 at a symposium at Washington State University.

The early registration deadline is Monday, Oct. 7. The cost is $35-$165.

The symposium celebrates the legacy of Leo K. Bustad and commemorates the 15th anniversary of his death. He was dean of the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine for a decade and founded the People-Pet Partnership, the first university-based community service program on the human-animal bond.
