PULLMAN, Wash. – How do American politics look from the other side of the Atlantic?

Gillian Peele, a fellow and tutor in politics at Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford, will discuss the quality of American democracy at the next Coffee & Politics session hosted by Foley Institute, 12-1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, in Foley Speaker’s Room, Bryan Hall, room 308.

Peele has published widely on British and American politics, including her most recent collection (edited with Joel Aberbach) titled “Crisis of Conservatism? The Republican Party, The Conservative Movement and American Politics.”

Her research focuses on comparative politics, with a focus on Britain and America.
