Media day Aug. 10 for WSU’s Northside residence hall

PULLMAN, Wash. – Media are invited to Washington State University’s newly constructed Northside residence hall during the campus-wide Move-In on Saturday, Aug. 10. Housing & Residence Life staff will be available on site 8 a.m.–5:30 p.m. for interview opportunities.
A public dedication with reception and tours is scheduled Sept. 5.
Northside is located at 1590 NE Colorado St., across from Hollingbery Fieldhouse and Mooberry Track.
Media are encouraged to film the exterior of the building as well as the interior first floor lobby/recreational lounge and second floor atrium, which leads to the third floor rooftop patio.
Northside’s layout and design will contribute to the broader purpose of creating a safe, vibrant, student-centered community.  The building’s location will activate the streetscape along Colorado Street and encourage connections to the surrounding campus.
Diverse living units are available, from single bedrooms to four-bedroom semi-suites.
More info about the hall may be found at http://housing.wsu.edu/reshall/northside
