Rec offers CPR and first aid certification

 
 
PULLMAN, Wash. – Check, call, care. Do you know what to do if someone is injured and needs medical attention?
 
Pullman residents are invited to become certified in CPR and first aid through the American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid Training Courses being offered at the WSU University Recreation Center through August 10.
 
Two course formats are being offered this summer at discount prices for UREC members. These courses include:
 
• Standard First Aid and Adult, Child, Infant CPR/AED which is a six-and-a-half hour course covering CPR, automated external defibrillator use and first aid. This course costs $50 for UREC members and $58 for nonmembers. This course offers certification in first aid.
 
• Adult, Child, Infant CPR/AED which is a three-and-half-hour course covering CPR and AED use. This course costs $40 for UREC members and $48 for nonmembers.
