The students recently earned acceptance into the prestigious Rockey FFAR Fellows Program. The program provides professional development for food and agriculture scientists.
The College Assistance Migrant Program and the High School Equivalency Program secured a combined $4.75 million to be distributed over five years.
Since its launch in January 2021, fifteen proposals have received nearly $575,000 in funding through Cougar Cage events.
Dr. Susan Mathew has played an instrumental role in bolstering the Teaching Academy’s offerings since taking over as the new director in November.
Titled “Cougs and Their Cubs,” the event series consists of child-centered activities students can participate in with their kids as well as virtual social events for Coug parents on their own.
