Pharmacy offers undergrad research fellowships

PULLMAN – Undergraduate students interested in research may apply for a summer fellowship at the Washington State University College of Pharmacy in Pullman or Spokane. Applications are due March 25 for Pullman fellowships and April 1 for Spokane fellowships.
 
Research topics in Pullman include cancer from several approaches, gene therapy and pain relief with medical gases. Projects are in a research laboratory.
 
In Spokane, projects are either in a lab or clinical setting and the topics include cancer, cardiovascular disease, exercise and diet, vitamin D and human patient simulation use in teaching.
 
Students will spend 10 weeks on a project and be paid $3,000.
