“Under the Big Tent” to focus on equality

PULLMAN – The WSU Center for Civic Engagement will host “Under the Big Tent” at noon Tuesday, Feb. 9, in the CUB Lair.

“Under the Big Tent” is an opportunity for WSU students and the Pullman community to participate in a civil debate concerning critical issues.

The topic for this debate is “Roads to Equality: Laws or Culture?” Participants will explore issues of equality, especially among sexual minorities. The discussion will focus on whether changing laws are the answer or if changing American culture is the true key.

Everyone is invited to participate in the free event, or to observe and listen.
