Professional development mini grants available for AP employees

Application deadline for fall professional development mini grants through the Administrative Professional Advisory Council at WSU is Oct. 31.

Designed as a supplemental fund, the mini grant is intended to match departmental spending on training and development opportunities for Administrative Professional employees. The maximum individual grant is $250. The mini grant application is available online.

Applicants must be permanent resident aliens or U.S. citizens and benefits-eligible (0.5 FTE or more) Administrative Professionals employed by Washington State University for at least six months prior to the start date of the planned activity.  Applicants must have their planned activity pre-approved by their supervisor and provide documentation.

Deadline for spring grants is April 30. Employees are eligible for a mini grant once very two fiscal years.

Up to $3,000 per year is distributed in mini grants through the APAC program at WSU.
