For the observance of International Women’s Day, women innovators in WSU’s College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences reflect on gains and the road ahead.
Dr. Steve Hines, a longtime WSU professor and veterinarian, is leading a national effort to explore new ways of assessing teaching performance and awarding promotions at the collegiate level.
The mindfulness and anti‑racism training is designed to be less of a corrective exercise and more of a practice in appreciating the collage of individuals that make up our community.

There are 15 TRIO programs at WSU that serve nearly 2,000 individuals with nearly $4 million in grant funding annually from the U.S. Dept. of Education.
