Remember to give yourself a little extra time when flying to or from Pullman this fall as the city’s regional airport closes for about a month beginning Sept. 8, leaving Spokane and Lewiston as the nearest commercial air alternatives.
The talk, titled “Accelerating Scientific Discovery through Quantum Information Sciences,” will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 3 p.m. in the Engineering Teaching/Research Building (ETRL), room 101 on the WSU Pullman campus.
On view at the museum from Aug. 27 to March 14, the exhibition features unique prints of extraordinary complexity from the renowned American artist Polly Apfelbaum.
From critical early developments in television technology to recent detection of cosmic phenomena in faraway galaxies, WSU physicists have been at the forefront of scientific education, innovation, and discovery for 100 years.
Tallying its highest cumulative semester GPA ever while also making the NCAA finals yet again, the rowing team is among those helping set the standard for WSU athletes.
“When you focus on equity and inclusion, you see student organizations that haven’t been active become more involved and that encourages more diverse students to take on leadership roles,” said ASWSU President Quinton Berkompas.
The event will feature Robert Siegel, former host of NPR’s All Things Considered, and will honor Ruckelshaus Center’s Founder and Chairman Bill Ruckelshaus on Sept. 13 at the Washington State Convention Center.
