The Piano Pedagogy Lab School in the School of Music is accepting a limited number of new students, as space is available. The PPLS offers individual weekly lessons to students from the community of all ages and proficiencies, taught by undergraduate and graduate piano majors. Nominations are being sought for AFW’s Samuel H. Smith Leadership Award. The Samuel H. Smith Leadership Award was established in 2000 to show AFW’s appreciation to President Emeritus Smith for his leadership in advancing the role of women at WSU. Proper maintenance is crucial for keeping your bike in tip-top shape. Learn about the processes for keeping your bike in working condition at the Intro to Bike Maintenance class hosted by the Outdoor Recreation Center (ORC). Trained attendants will walk patrons through basic tuning procedures for the drivetrain, bikes, wheels and other functions. No bicycle repair experience is needed and if you have specific questions about your bike please bring it to the clinic. Tools will also be provided. University Stores invites you to attend a retirement reception honoring Becky Brink for 36 years of service to Washington State University.  Please join us on Monday, Sept. 29 at 1:30 p.m. in Lighty 405 for refreshments and fond memories.  There will be a presentation at 2 p.m.  Becky has decided to retire after 36 years at WSU, 22 of which were spent at University Stores.  We are really going to miss her!  All are welcome to come and celebrate Becky and wish her well as she leaves WSU to enjoy other pastimes.
