On display March 26 through June 29, Subversive Intent: Selections from the Collection presents rarely displayed artworks from the museum’s permanent collection, spanning from historical pieces by Hogarth and Goya to contemporary works by Holzer and Shimomura. It juxtaposes politically engaged art by the Kienholzes with introspective and irreverent subversion. Artists throughout history have used humor and critique to address social issues, shedding light on humanity’s flaws. The exhibition showcases artists as astute observers, challenging conventional perceptions and transforming everyday objects into thought-provoking art. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m., excluding university holidays and breaks.

Information Technology Services (ITS) is upgrading several components of WSU Pullman and WSU Research and Extension Units’ (REU) VoIP infrastructure starting March 11 until March 15.

Please visit its.wsu.edu for a complete maintenance schedule and additional maintenance details.

Although no phone outages are expected, Pullman and REU phone systems may reregister during the initial start of each maintenance window and should return to normal service within 5 minutes.

However, if a phone does not re-register following a maintenance window, ITS recommends users cycle the power on the phone by unplugging the cable from the back of the device and plugging it back in.

From March 11–15, service requests and changes for the Pullman and REU phone systems will also be postponed until all maintenance is complete.

If phone issues persist following this maintenance, please contact Crimson Service Desk at crimsonservicedesk@wsu.edu or 509-335-4357.

From Sunday, March 10, to Tuesday, March 19, Information Technology Services (ITS) will implement a quarterly network infrastructure upgrade process to address security and bug fixes.

Internet and VoIP phone connectivity across the WSU system may be impacted during this quarter’s maintenance windows.

Although the entire maintenance windows will remain reserved for this work, internet outages during impacted maintenance windows are not expected to exceed 15–30 minutes.

For a detailed schedule of expected service interruptions, along with impacted campuses and buildings, please visit its.wsu.edu.

To report any internet or phone issues following the scheduled maintenance windows, please contact Crimson Service Desk via email at crimsonservicedesk@wsu.edu, phone at 509‑335‑4357, or online at crimsonservicedesk.wsu.edu.
