Neuroscience Seminar: Big Data Analytics in Brain Science

Shared Leave

Colloquium: Physics & Astronomy – Dr. Jeremy Holt

The Department of Physics and Astronomy invites all to a colloquium featuring Dr. Jeremy Holt, Department Physics & Astronomy at Texas A&M. Dr. Holt will present his talk, “Structure and dynamics of neutron‐rich matter on Earth and in the stars” Tuesday, March 7 at 4:10 p.m. in Webster 17.

Upcoming Common Reading Event: WSU International Development Projects in Pakistan and Afghanistan

Barbara Rasco will discuss her work on WSU international development projects in Pakistan and Afghanistan focusing on the impact of these projects on women and the issues they face. Rasco earned both a Ph.D. and J.D. degree; she is an internationally recognized authority on food safety laws and regulations and is an expert on aquatic food products.

Email Server Maintenance Notification

Information Technology Services will perform email server maintenance to smtp.wsu.edu on Saturday, March 11, between the hours of 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm.

Incoming mail will remain accessible during the upgrade, however there will be a short period during which outgoing mail functionality will be unavailable.

ITS encourages users to plan accordingly and avoid any potential communication delays.

GIESORC Director Candidate Forums

Please join us at the presentation and open forums for the three finalists to be the Director of the Gender Identity/Expression and Sexual Orientation Resource Center. The GIESORC serves so many students, groups and communities across campus and the search committee wants to hear from as many people as possible.

March Student Leader of the Month Announced

Last year, the Leadership Center at Washington State University began an initiative to more deeply appreciate and honor our student leaders through individual recognition. The inaugural Student Leader of the Month award aims to distinguish student leaders that impact the WSU community through leadership, as well as encourage others to learn and engage with student leadership offerings at WSU. In order to be considered for the Student Leader of the Month Award, a nomination must be submitted by a student, staff, or faculty member of Washington State University. After reviewing nominations, Leadership Center staff have selected Mr. Clayton Simundson to receive the honor of Student Leader of the Month at Washington State University for the month of March, 2017.
