zzusis PeopleTools Upgrade Planned

Enterprise Systems is planning to have Oracle Managed Cloud Services complete an upgrade to version 8.54 of the PeopleTools development software within our zzusis portal environment.  As with all developer tools, new releases are needed to continue to enhance the functionality of the product. Enterprise Systems has determined that this upgrade will allow us to explore the viability of enhancements that are only available on PeopleTools 8.54 and that the end of May would be the optimal time to upgrade to allow us to take advantage of these new features and enhanced functionality.

The zzusis Portal PeopleTools 8.54 upgrade will take place May 29-31, 2015 and will take 40-44 hours to complete. The process will begin at 5:00pm on Friday May 29th and run until noon on Sunday May 31st. The zzusis portal will be off-line and inaccessible during the upgrade process

Enterprise Systems will be providing a series of open house events to demo the new version and answer questions. The dates, times, and locations for these demos are listed below and you can preview the new version in zzusis by navigating to the Main Menu > zzusis Training > User Interface Updates

Open House schedule:
Tuesday, May 12th, 9:00 am – 10:00 am in Lighty 405
Thursday, May 14th, 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm online in the Virtual Training Room – http://tinyurl.com/WSUPTDemo
Friday, May 15th, 10:00 am – noon in the Math Annex Training Lab (Drop by anytime)
