WSU President’s Commission on the Status of Women – accepting applications

The WSU President’s Commission on the Status of Women is now seeking applications for new members. The Commission encourages women and men who are interested in working toward creating a better working and academic environment for everyone across the WSU system to apply for membership with the Commission.   We are seeking members from all employment and student classes – faculty, classified staff, and AP, and graduate and undergraduate students.  We are strongly encouraging classified staff to apply for the upcoming year.

All positions are for a 2-year term, except for students, who serve a 1-year term.  Please note that designated faculty, staff, and student positions may be filled by individuals from any WSU campus, learning center or WSU Extension office; however, we must have 16 of the 23 total voting members from the Pullman campus.

All interested faculty, staff, or students should send applications to CSW Membership Officer Frances Logan at frances.logan@wsu.edu. Applications may be downloaded from the Commission’s website at: http://president.wsu.edu/committees/womens-status.html

Deadline for applications is Friday, April 24.
