WSU Police Department Advisory Board positions

The WSU Police Department Advisory Board is now recruiting for several at-large positions. The Advisory Board provides the WSU Police Department with independent views and a place to discuss issues of major significance. The responsibilities of Advisory Board members are:

  • developing an understanding of the WSU Police Department and trends in effective campus police training/protocols;
  • provide “wise counsel” on issues raised by WSU Police Department leadership;
  • provide informed insights and ideas from an alternative point of view (not involved in the operation of the business); and
  • act as a resource for WSU Police Department leadership.

Meetings are held in September, November, January, March, and May. Currently, we have three student positions and one faculty/staff position vacant. If you are interested, please complete this form by June 15.

If you have questions, please reach out to Matthew Jeffries (matthew.jeffries@wsu.edu) and/or Trymaine Gaither (Trymaine.gaither@wsu.edu), current Co-Chairs.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience.
