WSU leaders offer academic integrity workshop

Five Washington State University professors and administrators are holding a workshop this Thursday on academic integrity.

Panelists will discuss current issues, and practical tools to protect this key component of the educational process. Audience members will be invited to ask questions and share their own approaches. The five presenters are:

  • Doug Blanks Hindman, associate professor of communication
  • Adam Jussel, director of Student Standards and Accountability, and assistant dean of students
  • Jerman Rose, interim vice provost, International Programs; special assistant to the provost and executive vice president
  • Mary Wack, vice provost for undergraduate education
  • Richard Zack, professor of entomology

The workshop is 12:10 p.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, March 5, in CUE 518. Lunch will be served. The presentation will also be live-streamed. To attend, visit the WSU eLearning trainings page and select “faculty-led” from the dropdown menu.

This workshop is part of a series on student success co-sponsored by the WSU Provost’s Office, WSU Teaching Academy and the Global Campus. Next up  is a March 24 workshop on reaching first-generation students.
