Join the WSU Viticulture and Enology Program and Brelsford WSU Visitor Center for the annual WSU Blended Learning Homecoming tasting and open house 4-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at the visitor center.

The tasting will feature four wines from the WSU Viticulture and Enology program Blended Learning series. Students from the program will be on-site to discuss their experience, the wines and program. Staff from the V&E program will also be available to share more about the program and process of winemaking.

This year’s featured wines include the Sparkling Brut Rosé, Head-Trained Syrah, Dry Riesling and GSM, a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre varietals.

Tickets cost $10, include a 2-ounce tasting of each wine and a commemorative Brelsford WSU Visitor Center wine glass (while supplies last). Each tasting ticket will also act as 20 percent off the purchase of a single bottle of wine. Tasting ticket coupons are not valid with other sale offers.

Tickets are available for purchase beginning at 4 p.m. at the door and are limited to one per person. Participants must be 21 or older with proper identification at the time of ticket purchase. The event is open to all ages. Light refreshments, including coffee, water and cookies, will be provided while supplies last.

The visitor center will also be open with extended hours Friday, Oct. 18-Sunday, Oct. 20, to assist fans with any pre-game needs. There will also be a weekend-long wine sale featuring 20 percent off the entire purchase of select alumni wines.
