Who are your first-year students? Terese King presents data, insights Sept. 2

If you are Pullman faculty and staff working with first-year students, you won’t want to miss this mid-week opportunity: Learn about the demographic data and characteristics associated with these newest members of the WSU community. And take part in a discussion about how the students’ characteristics impact their transition to college.

Terese King, director of the WSU Academic Success and Career Center (ASCC), has the facts to share with you at this information session set for 4:10-5 p.m. Wed., Sept. 2, in Smith CUE 202.

The event is hosted by the First-Year Experience (FYE) program. ASCC and FYE are part of WSU Undergraduate Education.

Look for details soon about a second session that will focus on working with first-generation students. It is planned for later in September.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
