Webinar: Promoting health through community inclusion and welcoming spaces

Event Description: This live webinar features Dr. Mark Salzer from Temple University. Dr. Salzer will introduce the concept of “Welcoming Spaces” and will review the theories and research underlying community inclusion and participation for mental health and wellness, with a focus on people with serious mental illness and those in recovery from substance use. He will discuss the importance of community spaces (including colleges and universities) that are welcoming and embracing of these individuals to support their ability to participate in meaningful ways.
