ITS update: Imaging maintenance today (Sept. 11) through Sunday (Sept. 13)

History

Since January 2019, the Imaging system has been on an on-premise Linux WebCenter Content Imaging & Capture 12.2.1.3. The Imaging team in ITS discovered shifting to another hosting platform offers WSU significant cost reductions, particularly important in light of recent budget concerns due to COVID-19.

What is Changing

Following development of test and production environments, ITS moved Imaging and completed user acceptance testing during the month of July. ITS is now ready to implement the new systems for customer use.

Why am I reading this?

The Imaging system will be inaccessible from noon on September 11 to 5 p.m. on September 13. Once the migration is complete, ITS does not anticipate any changes to the users.
