University community invited to Distinguished Scholars Celebration Today

The Distinguished Scholarships Program is hosting the Distinguished Scholars Celebration on Thurs., Oct. 19, from 3:30- 5 p.m. with a program starting at 3:45 in the Distinguished Scholars Gallery on the ground floor of the CUB.  The university is invited to attend and RSVPs are not necessary.

WSU Distinguished Scholarships, part of WSU Undergraduate Education, is celebrating the students who received prestigious, nationally competitive scholarships in the past year, and honoring the faculty mentors and recommendation writers who helped these students achieve their goals.

The formal program will include remarks from Daniel G. Bernardo, WSU provost and executive vice president.
