University Communications Mailing Services Tip of the Week

Bar codes must be placed on all bundles of outgoing mail. The correct placement is directly under the return address. Don’t put a bar code on every letter in a bundle. If you are mailing multiple small parcels, one bar code on a scrap piece of paper and taped to the top parcel in a tote is sufficient. All large parcels must have a bar code affixed under the return address.
