Train to be a challenge course facilitator!

Become a better leader with the Challenge Program’s Facilitator Training. This will develop your group management skills and prepare you to lead activities on and off the challenge course. Being a facilitator will improve your communication skills while also helping to inspire confidence in yourself and others. Participants have gone onto have careers in teaching, counseling, and training.

The high and low course training will be six days on Oct. 6-8 and 27-29 and attendance is required on every day. In addition to leadership and relationship training, participants will learn an array of technical skills. In accordance with Association for Challenge Course Technology standards, the training will teach spotting, belaying, rescues and gear inspections. Participants can expect to come away confident in their ability to manage a group and lead various challenge activities.
