Today! Virtual lecture with artist Alonsa Guevara

The Department of Fine Arts welcomes artist Alonsa Guevara for a virtual artist talk, supported by the Forst Endowed Visiting Artist Program.

Alonsa Guevara is a New York-based artist born in Rancagua, Chile. Her paintings blur the lines between fantasy and reality while celebrating the connection between humankind and nature. A large part of her inspiration derives from her childhood spent living in the Ecuadorian rainforest with her family, growing up surrounded by tropical landscapes and a diverse wildlife. Alonsa’s work has been published in Forbes Magazine, Time Out NYC Magazine, VICE and more.
