A tale of two U.S. cities: Immigrant-welcoming and immigrant-disparaging reactions to large scale Latinx in-migration

Nicholas Lovrich will talk about his work examining the differing responses to immigrant populations in two US cities: Hazleton, Pennsylvania, and Twin Falls, Idaho.

Lovrich’s work examines not only the contemporary situation in each town but also the historical contexts that produced them.
