Swedish Film Showcase for Free: A Man Called Ove

“A Man Called Ove,” a famous novel written by Swedish author which also made into a movie, will be showcased on Friday, November 3, at Todd Hall 130 starting at 5:30 p.m. The event is free of charge and open to public.

Ove, an ill-tempered, isolated retiree who spends his days enforcing block association rules and visiting his wife’s grave, has finally given up on life just as an unlikely friendship develops with his boisterous new neighbors. This event is sponsored by International Center (CUB L37).
