Submission deadline Showcase research abstracts: January 16

Abstracts will be accepted through Wednesday, January 16 for Academic Showcase and the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) Research Exposition.

These annual poster sessions give faculty, staff, and graduate and professional students a forum for presenting their research, scholarship, or creative work to the WSU academic community.

Both events will be held Thursday, March 28, at WSU Pullman. The sessions are part of Showcase, a week long event that celebrates academic excellence.

This poster session welcomes WSU faculty, staff, and graduate/professional students from all disciplines, campuses, and Extension offices statewide.

GPSA Research Exposition

Both a poster session and scholarship competition, this event is exclusively for graduate and professional students enrolled at the WSU Pullman campus.

The University encourages Pullman graduate and professional students to apply to both events. Although a student may only participate in one, applying to both yields the best possibility for acceptance.

How to apply

To apply, submit abstracts of your work—each only 250 words or less—by the January 16 deadline. Deliver your abstracts online:

  • Academic Showcase
  • GPSA Research Exposition

Each event has its own eligibility requirements and evaluation rubrics. Applicants should carefully review guidelines and edit abstracts accordingly.
