Sept. 23: Avista executive explores risk management at WSU Walton Lecture

Bob Brandkamp, risk manager for Avista Corp., will present “Risk: Another Four‑Letter Word I Learned in School,” from 5–6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, in the Carson College of Business, Todd 130, on the Washington State University Pullman campus.

The presentation is the 27th annual Walton Lecture, free to the public.

Brandkamp is responsible for managing Avista’s corporate insurance and enterprise risk management programs. He will talk about personal risks, risk management in the business sector and how Avista uses risk management to achieve its goals. He’ll also discuss how knowledge of risk management is valuable to a career path.
