Road Closure — College Avenue between Spokane St. and Spring St.

NE College Avenue, from the top of the hill at Spokane Street down to the bottom of the hill at Spring Street is closed until further notice.

While this road is usually closed in the winter time due to the steep grade and icy conditions, there are additional problems with the tunnel conditions under the road, making vehicular traffic over the roadway unsafe.  Pedestrian traffic is fine.

This will also require a partial closure of Columbia Street and Tacoma Street.  Repairs to the tunnel lid will commence later this Spring when the weather allows, and the road will be closed until those repairs can be made.
