Pesticide applicator’s licenses – Annual reminder

All WSU employees involved in the application of pesticides are reminded that they must maintain current applicators’ licenses. Licenses must be renewed annually. To check on the status of your license, go to https://agr.wa.gov/services/licenses-permits-and-certificates/pesticide-license-and-recertification/pesticide-and-spi-licensing/license-search.

Supervisors should also check the database to ensure that all personnel they supervise, who are engaged in pesticide application, are in compliance with state and federal laws.

WSDA is currently processing license renewals for 2020. Licenses renewed online should show current status shortly after renewal; however, if you submitted your renewal by mail and your license is still marked as “expired”, you will need to check back to make sure it was processed correctly.
