PEBB Eligible Employees: FSA and DCAP; Enroll SOON!

Annual Open Enrollment for the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and the Dependent Care Assistance Plan (DCAP) will start November 1 and run through November 30 for the 2015 plan year. These benefit programs require an employee to enroll/re-enroll in the program annually in order to participate for the upcoming plan year.

Both the FSA and the DCAP benefits will be offered through Flex-Plan Services, Inc. Flex-Plan Services, Inc. will administer all claims submitted for 2014, and during the January 1 – March 15, 2015 grace period.

WSU offers the option to enroll in these benefits via paper form or online enrollment. If you want to begin or continue participation in an FSA and/or DCAP for 2015, complete the online or hardcopy 2015 enrollment form found at http://hrs.wsu.edu/Benefit Forms under the Flexible Spending Account & Dependent Care Assistance Program section.

The online enrollment can be done through Sunday, November 30th. With Wednesday, November 26th being that last working day of the month, hardcopy enrollment forms should be returned to the Pullman Human Resource Services (HRS) office no later than 5 pm (PST) that day.

The enrollment form is for both FSA and DCAP. Please review and complete the form carefully to ensure you are enrolled in the appropriate program.

If you choose to enroll in a Consumer-Directed Health Plan (CDHP) for 2015, you will not be able to participate in the FSA benefit.
