Nominations/applications sought by WSU President’s Teaching Academy

Now through MARCH 16, the WSU President’s Teaching Academy is asking for applications from prospective new members who are particularly strong advocates for teaching and learning at WSU.

Tenure/tenure-track and career-track faculty with three or more years of teaching experience at WSU are encouraged to check out the online application.

For more information, visit the website at TeachingAcademy.wsu.edu.

Academy Chair is Clif Stratton, who can be reached at clif.stratton@wsu.edu, or 509-335-2230.

The mission of the group is to provide advocacy, expertise, and resources to enable the faculty of WSU to involve students in transformative learning experiences, and to promote a university culture that values and rewards excellence and scholarship in teaching.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
