New Perspective: WSU Tops Pac-12 in Faculty Rep Choice for Student-Athlete Scholars

Washington State University student athletes excel on the field, court, baseball diamond and track, not to mention area rivers. Their success takes hours of hard work, dedication and discipline. Many of them also excel in the classroom.

The NCAA this week released the results of the 2013 1A Faculty Athletic Representative Academic Excellence Awards for student athletes. To win such an award, a student athlete must earn a 3.8 grade point average, have competed at an NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision institution for at least two years and have graduated between Sept. 1 and Aug. 31 during the academic year.
