Motor Pool 8 Passenger Van Rentals

To drive an 8-passenger Motor Pool van, the driver must:

  1. Must be 21.
  2. Obtain a Driving Abstract from the Department of Motor Vehicles. This shows their driving record for the last 3 years. Idaho residents can do this on line. Washington residents can go to the Department of Licensing, or request on line.  Cost is $13.00  http://www.dol.wa.gov/driverslicense/requestyourrecord.html
  3. Show proof of insurance (copy of the insurance card carried in their personal vehicle).

  6. Fill out form S 35 10.23 before initial operation of an 8-passenger (full size) van:
  7. Valid License to Drive and Driving Experience Statement
  8. Fill out form S 35 10.22 before initial operation of an 8-passenger (full size) van:
  9. Safe Driving Practices Acknowledgment Statement
  10. Van Driver Certification Class- Done by Environmental Health Services 335-3682

The Department files the originals of the signed forms and provides a copy to the driver.
