Meet Blue, WSU’s new online course evaluation system, Wednesday, Sept. 10, 1 – 2 p.m., CUB Auditorium

The Provost’s Office invites all members of the university community to a demonstration of eXplorance Blue, WSU’s new online system for student ratings of courses.  Samer Saab, the company’s CEO, will introduce the system, its key features and opportunities it offers.  Kimberly Green, Director of the Office of Assessment of Teaching and Learning (ATL), will briefly outline the transition process at WSU planned over a two-year time-frame.   This presentation will be streamed to Spokane, Tri-Cities, and Vancouver campuses.  (See ATL’s website for room information).

Additional Session for Faculty, 4 – 5 p.m.: The vendor and ATL staff will also be available to meet with faculty for discussion and questions from 4-5 p.m. in CUE 512, with refreshments provided., also on Sept. 10.   All faculty welcome.

Regents start search process for next WSU president

The Board of Regents will begin the search process for WSU’s 12th president this week. Applications for the Presidential Search Advisory Committee are now available.
