Law Award application deadline moved to March 30

Washington State University announces that applications and nominations for the Richard G. Law Excellence Award for Undergraduate Teaching will be accepted through Mon., March 30, pushing it one week later than originally announced for 2020.

Presented since 2013, the Law Award recognizes outstanding teaching by faculty on all campuses who teach courses in the University Common Requirements (UCORE) curriculum. Eight faculty members have so far received the Law Award, said Karen Weathermon, member of the Law Award selection committee.

Those eligible for the Law Award include all instructors of record—that is, instructors and clinical faculty as well as tenure-track faculty—on all campuses, whose teaching has included at least one UCORE class annually for at least the past three years.
