Imagine Tomorrow Thank You

You’ve heard the term “It takes a village…” ?  Well for Imagine Tomorrow, the energy literacy and clean energy competition for high school students, WSU is that village.

Conference Management had the distinct pleasure of working with so many amazing professionals on the WSU campus to make this event a success this year, and I would like to send out a special thank you to those who worked largely behind the scene to make Imagine Tomorrow so great.  Humble apologies if I leave anyone out!  It’s like an Oscar Speech!

University Communications:  Holly Dawkins, Val Boydo, Marilyn Reed, Clint Young, Robert Frank, Brian Clark, Emily Smudde, Bob Hubner (Fabulous Photos!) and Barb Olson. Also the many printers and assemblers, and various other professionals behind the scenes who created so many beautiful pieces of marketing and swag, PowerPoints and scripts.  Your team is amazing!

WSU Foundation:  Devon Anderson, Sue Elder who were patient and guided us through the complexities of working with their donors and did all the heavy lifting on sponsor events.

Ombudsman: Tena Old and Janet Herlinger, who in their previous positions set the bar very, very high for this event, and who provided excellent guidance and support.

CUB and Housing & Dining Services:  Neil Manning, our miracle worker.  Amy Gibson, who always gets it right and guides our menus, Brian Keithly, who works with a fantastic crew to feed 700 attendees, Bob Tattershall and Ross McClure and their group who make sure the residence halls are welcome and inviting, Nancy Kluge, who ensures we can play at the Rec Center, and Meg Autry, who’s staff at the CUB bring it all together with a smile.

Facilities and Heavy Equipment:  Eric Slocum and his wonderful team that worked overtime and helped us set up and tear down in record time.  Kathy Cuellar and her team who made sure we got our stuff where and when we needed it.

And of course the Imagine Tomorrow Faculty Committee, who were so helpful, patient, and awesome to work with!  Grant Norton, Liv Hasselbach, Chad Gotch, Quinn Langfitt, Jessica Beaver, Craig Parks, KD Joshi.

THANK YOU TO OUR VILLAGE, WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY!
