Graduate student interns needed: Student Financial Services

Student Financial Services is seeking two graduate student interns for the upcoming Spring 2018 semester! These positions will assist with financial aid and scholarship processing projects as assigned. They shall include, but not be limited to, Satisfactory Academic Progress, File Review, myWSU checklist and communications, departmental communications and general student account management.

Graduate student interns support positions have the responsibility of providing excellent customer service in a high stress environment; answering emails, phones, and having face to face daily contact with students, parents, staff, and faculty; advising them on obtaining financial aid and scholarship information and payments according to university, state and federal financial aid rules. At least 50% of this position will be dedicated to customer service needs. Position duties and responsibilities will be performed in support of office vision, mission and values as well as institutional mission and goals.

This position will include an hourly pay rate of $19.67 and a tuition waiver of $5,445 per semester, and requires an average of 20 hours per week.  Applicants with the ability to stay for at least two years are preferred and students must be a resident of the state of Washington, accepted into a graduate program, and attending graduate school at WSU Pullman in the upcoming school year.
