Gamache Vintners, Clearwater Canyon Cellars wine tasting

Begin your next WSU football weekend with a Cougar-connected wine tasting 3-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19 at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center, 150 E. Spring St.

The tasting will feature two wines each from WSU alumni wineries Gamache Vintners and Clearwater Canyon Cellars. The wines include Viognier and Cabernet Franc from Gamache Vinters and Carmenere and Lochsa Chardonnay from Clearwater Canyon Cellars.

Tasting tickets cost $10 and can be purchased at the door beginning at 3 p.m. Tickets are limited to one per person and proper identification is required. The tasting includes a 2-oz. pour of each wine.

Tickets also include a commemorative Brelsford WSU Visitor Center wine glass while supplies last and act as 20 percent off coupon for a single bottle of wine. Participants will also be entered into a raffle for a gift basket featuring a variety of products made by WSU students.

The event is open to all ages. A limited supply of light refreshments will be provided by WSU Dining Services and the visitor center.
