Encourage students to complete NSSE survey

WSU first-year students and seniors will receive an email Tues., March 9 from Pres. Kirk Schulz to ask them to take the National Survey for Student Engagement (NSSE) to help shape future programming at the university. Please encourage your students to take the NSSE! They can access it through a tile in myWSU.

The month-long NSSE campaign gives students the opportunity to report on how well WSU is engaging undergraduates in their educational and academic community. The March 9 email, sent by NSSE on behalf of Pres. Schulz, is the second in a series of five over the course of March. Once a student takes the survey, they stop receiving emails, but all who complete a survey by April 15 will be eligible for drawings for a gift card.

For more information about NSSE, and to access social media tools to encourage students to participate, visit https://NSSE.wsu.edu. Data from NSSE surveys as far back as 2008 are online at https://IR.wsu.edu/nsse-survey/.
