Cougs Vote open planning meetings for election-related events on all WSU campuses

Is your department, class, or student group planning an event or program related to the Nov. 8 national elections? You’re invited to participate in the Cougs Vote open planning meetings on Monday, August 29, and Tuesday, August 30, on the Pullman campus. A call in option is available for those located on other campuses.

To call into the meeting, follow these instructions:

  2. Press 1 to attend the meeting
  3. Enter the meeting ID listed below followed by the # sign
  4. Follow any voice prompts

The meeting options are as follows:

  • Monday, August 29 | 10 – 11 a.m. | CUB 310 | Meeting ID 8683

Attendees are expected to attend only one of the four meetings and are asked to bring any events you have already planned to the meeting to share. At the meeting, WSU voting rate data, a selection of Cougs Vote events, and links to download event support materials will be shared as well.

Free election-related event support is available through the WSU Center for Civic Engagement (CCE), which will include an event listing on http://cce.wsu.edu/cougsvote, promotion on CCE social media channels, free use of the Cougs Vote logo, information on WSU’s prior voting rates, and access to voter registration instructions and forms. Events shared with the WSU CCE will also be included a system-wide democratic engagement report to earn WSU national recognition through NASPA Voter Friendly Campus designation and the Campus Vote Project’s All In Challenge.

If you are unable to attend one of the meetings listed above but would like to share your event, email Erin McIlraith, WSU CCE Marketing and Communication Coordinator, at emcilraith@wsu.edu.
