Blackboard Collaborate Web Conferencing Recordings Management

As the semester draws to a close, we would like to remind instructors that to comply with copyright and university policy, Blackboard Collaborate course recordings will be deleted 30 days after the end of the semester.

As you assign final grades for your course, please let us know if you have students that receive an incomplete.  AMS can make special arrangements so that these students can have access to the archived course recordings in order to complete your course.  However, you MUST inform us that you need to have your recordings retained for course incompletes within 30 days of the end of the semester.

To have us retain your recordings for students in your class who receive incompletes, please send an email message to rob.baker@wsu.edu, and include the course name, the department, and course number.

Due to limitations set by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and the TEACH Act, archives of classes may only be archived for students enrolled in the class during the semester it was captured.  Because of these limitations, we do not make copies of class files for professors.
