AP Advisory Council invites applications

The Administrative Professional Advisory Council (APAC) invites applications from interested administrative professional (AP) personnel to fill vacancies on the Council. Openings are for one (1) Vancouver council position for a one year term and would end on 6/30/2020. Two (2) alternate positions for the Pullman campus are available for one year terms which end 06/30/2020  Application deadline 5:00pm (PST) on October 25, 2019.

The purpose of the Administrative Professional Advisory Council is to serve as a liaison between the administrative professional (AP) employees and central administration and to effectively communicate important issues.

Objectives of the APAC are:

Serve in an advisory capacity regarding AP issues;Represent the interests of AP employees;Provide a forum where AP employees may discuss University-related issues of mutual interest; and Disseminate information between AP staff and Administration.

The Council meets for an hour and a half once a month and members have opportunities to serve on subcommittees which may require additional time.

We encourage administrative professional employees interested in serving on the council to complete an application on the APAC website.
