African Night 2014

The African Friendship Association (AFA) proudly announces that African Night 2014 will take place on April 12, during Mom’s Weekend, at the Schweitzer Engineering Event Center.  The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The theme for African Night 2014 is “Coming to Africa.” Different aspects of African culture will be showcased through various dances, skits and songs. There will be a show-stopping fashion show featured at the end of the event and African food will also be served.

AFA is a student organization whose aim is to promote friendship among Africans at Washington State University and between Africans and the Pullman community. The organization also strives to promote the African image at Washington State University and provide support for its members.

Tickets are on sale Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the CUB.

Ticket pre-sale prices are:

Student: $10 Adult: $15

Ticket prices are an additional $5 if purchased at the event.
