Access to the motor pool fuel station

Through the duration of a new building being built in the Grimes Way Steam Plant parking lot, the Motor Pool fuel station will be open for access at most, if not all, times. However, there might be some restricted access for large equipment and tractor trailers during certain hours. The construction project will work with us to get you fuel access.

For large equipment and tractor trailers please use both entry ways instead of doing any reverse maneuvers, the gates will be unlocked for that access. The gates will be locked at 5:30 p.m. each night and opened at or before 7 a.m. each morning. Those needing fuel during the closed hours can make arrangements with the Motor Pool for access.

Smaller equipment and vehicles please use the Eastern most entry way only. We have adjusted the turn around and eliminated the four closest parking spaces next to the fuel pumps to compensate for the smaller parking lot and turn around of the smaller vehicles and equipment.

Please obey all traffic signs, cones, barricades and parking spaces at all times to reduce any hazards. If you should have any questions please give Dennis Rovetto, Director of Plant Services a call 335-9087 or email rovetto@wsu.edu
