Consider donating non-perishable foods this weekend during our Dad’s Weekend Food Drive for the Access & Opportunity Food Pantry located in Lighty 260.
Our top five needs are: Canned soups, canned fruit, cereals, canned proteins (tuna, canned chicken, chili, etc.), pasta and pasta sauces. We are also accepting donations of can openers and vegetarian friendly options. This year Dissmore’s IGA is also selling $10 donation bags in their store or on their website. The store manager has agreed to add a 10 percent of the food on top of whatever amount of donations the pantry receives from customers.
